The Granary Tearoom
The Old Granary is full of charm and character with its original oak beams and small latted windows and is a delightful place to meet up with friends and enjoy traditional farmhouse fayre. It is extremely comfortable and warm (a bitterly cold day in December at the time of writing!). All the hot water and heating in the Farmshop & Tearoom is supplied from a very efficient woodchip burner which is Mark’s pride and joy!!
We serve freshly brewed Yorkshire Tea and Coopers Coffee together with home baked scones, cakes and pastries, farmhouse breakfasts, cooked lunches and afternoon teas with “Specials” on the menu every day. All meals are cooked fresh to order and the ingredients may be purchased in the Farmshop!
On Sundays we serve a traditional Sunday lunch of Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding and booking is advisable. The Farmshop & Tearoom is licensed and we offer an excellent selection of wines and beers etc. For customers unable to negotiate the stairs
there are two tables in the Farmshop with waitress service.
Meals can be taken at the picnic tables in the covered foldyard next to the
Childrens’ Play Area and during the summer months we have tables and
chairs outside in the sunshine!
