The Farm Butchery is the heart of our business & our fresh meat counter takes pride of place in the Farmshop.
Our serve over counter and multideck fridge is always filled to capacity with our home grown Limousin Beef, Yorkshire Lamb, Pork & Poultry.
Beef and lamb is selected from the farm by Mark & Peter and taken to our local abattoir (Glaves’ at Brompton) just 20 miles away. The carcasses are returned to our onsite hanging facility and beef is hung for a minimum of 21 days. All the carcasses are broken down by our Butchers who skilfully present a wonderful display of home produced specialities. Our customers are spoilt for choice as we offer a large variety of meal solutions, making all our own burgers, sausages, stir fries, and an extensive BBQ range.
Our Butchery supplies all the meat that is served in the Granary Tearoom including homemade sausages, cured hams, burgers and our succulent Limousin Steaks.
